作为北理工业设计的研究生，考研我们一路走来，其中滋味都有体会。通过近几年的观察，我们发现了一些考研过程中的问题，这些问题也正在一步一步的侵蚀考研的公平性。
首先，说一说“考研世袭”现象。“考研世袭”在艺术设计类考研中表现的比较明显，所谓“考研世袭”，就比如说某一学校有学生考上了北理，那么这个学校的以后的本科生考上北理的几率要比那些没有考生过北理研究生的学校的几率大。为什么呢？原因很简单，对于设计类考研来说每个高校的要求、风格以及潜规则都有所不同，举个例子来说，工设考研的手绘，每个学校的考试时长都不尽相同，甚至是使用的纸张类型、大小都有所不同。这些考试中的细节，只有亲身经历过的学生才能熟知。另外，对于更加主观的复试环节，导师的脾性、喜好也都只有本校学生能知道，这也就是为什么说本校学生考研有优势的重要原因。所以，假如你有学长学姐在北理，那么恭喜你，你考上的机会大要比那些没有学长学姐在北理的大。但毕竟有学长学姐的是少数，所以说呢，不公平正在慢慢产生。
北理工设考研站，就是要通过互联网，将考研过来人的经验，尽可能广泛的传播到每个考研学生中间，“北理工设考研站”就是你的学长学姐，让所有人都不能输在起跑线上。
其次，还想谈一谈独立钻研的精神。研究生的素质的首要就是独立钻研的精神，我相信准备考研的学生中很多都具备这样的素质，你们需要的是稍加指点，再加上自己的钻研就能成功，“北理工设考研站”就是给你稍加指点的那个人。为什么要强调独立钻研呢？因为现在考研辅导班盛行，我们倒不是反对考研辅导，因为有很多专业基础薄弱以及跨专业考研的童鞋都需要一定程度的辅导，我们反对的是辅导成风，反对放弃独立钻研，反对依赖辅导。我们希望通过“北理工设考研站”让那些具有独立钻研精神的人，静下来，不要盲目跟风，凭借我们的指点，相信自己能行。
最后呢，算是我们这些工设学生的一句理想主义的呐喊，“包豪斯精神”。这篇文章的配图是包豪斯的教学楼，网站的logo是北理设计学院的教学楼，我们真心希望，大家在研究生阶段不仅要熟练3D软件、手绘等等这些技术，更能够真正领会“包豪斯精神”，一种通过设计来改造生活精神，算是一点小小的拔高吧。
